{"id":15152,"date":"2022-10-07T12:33:40","date_gmt":"2022-10-07T09:33:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tee-kdth.gr\/?p=15152"},"modified":"2022-10-07T12:37:59","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T09:37:59","slug":"%ce%b1-new-working-from-the-technical-chamber-of-greece-regional-dpt-of-central-development-of-technical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tee-kdth.gr\/en\/condereff\/%ce%b1-new-working-from-the-technical-chamber-of-greece-regional-dpt-of-central-development-of-technical","title":{"rendered":"\u0391 New Working Group has been initiated from the Technical Chamber of Greece \u2013 Regional Dpt of Central and Western Thessaly, for the pilot action \u201cDevelopment of Technical Specifications of Construction and Demolition Waste (C &#038; D Waste)\u201d."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Following the signing of the Action Plan for the Project CONDEREFF, and particularly for the Action 3 \u201cReplacement of New Materials by recycled ones (CDW)\u201d, a Programming Contract between the Region of Thessaly, the University of Thessaly and the Technical Chamber of Greece \u2013 Regional Dpt of Central and Western Thessaly was signed\u00a0 aiming \u00a0the &#8220;Development of Technical Specifications of Construction and Demolition Waste (C &amp; D Waste)&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The above effort follows the European program &#8220;Condereff&#8221; (Proposals for the reuse of Construction and Demolition Waste), which is implemented by the Region of Thessaly with a strategic ally &#8211; the Technical Chamber of Greece Regional Dpt of Central and Western Thessaly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Within the above framework, the Working Group, which consists of the special scientists Dr. Spiliotis Xenophon \u2013 Chemical Engineer, Professor of the University of Thessaly, Paleochorlidis Evdokimos \u2013 Mechanical Engineer, Antoniou Evangelia &#8211; Civil Engineer and Zoi Papavasileiou &#8211; Civil Engineer, will attempt to develop Technical Specifications for C&amp;DWaste materials,\u00a0 after undertaking the necessary laboratory on waste samples.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Regarding the importance of the project, the President of the Technical Chamber of Greece \u2013 Regional Dpt of Central and Western Thessaly, noted: &#8220;In order to achieve a circular economy, the reuse of recycled materials and their return to the economy is the issue. However, although the collection and treatment of excavation and demolition materials has been an obligation under the legislation for years, unfortunately there is a gap regarding the specifications of these secondary aggregates for their reuse in private and public works.\u00a0 In this prospect, the national initiative of the Regional Governor of Thessaly, Mr. Konstantinos Agorastos, for the development of the relevant Technical Specifications, is of great importance. We are particularly happy to participate and undertake its completion through a relevant program contract in cooperation with the Region of Thessaly and the University of
